FR200 HealthMate Jr Filter. In order to remove 99.97% of all particles, including bacteria and viruses, down to 0.3 microns and 95% down to 0.1 microns, the Austin Air HealthMate Jr filter is made of 30 square feet of certified true certified true medical High Efficiency Particulate Arresting (HEPA), the most effective filtering media in the industry. 6.5 pounds of an activated carbon/zeolite mixture that absorbs smells, smoke, and VOCs surround the HEPA medium. The surface area accessible for absorption is increased by the porous nature of activated carbon. Zeolite is a mineral with micropores that absorbs some substances more effectively than activated carbon. All junior-sized Austin Air purifiers can use this filter.

Filtering Specifications:

Large Particle Pre-filter at Stage 1. removes visible particles to the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander).
Medium Particle Pre-filter at Stage 2. removes particles of a small to medium size (e.g. molds, spores and pollen) Gray, blue, or green in color
Over 270 cubic inches of Activated Carbon and Zeolite are used in Stage 3. removes smells, gases, and chemicals.
STAGE 4 - True Medical Grade HEPA covering 30 square feet. 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns and 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns are eliminated.
Look for a label on the underside of your existing filter to determine its size. Junior size filter is indicated by model HM200.
