Austin Air HealthMate Filter

This is a replacement filter for the Austin Air HealthMate® with Pre-Filter. Your daily concerns about air quality are addressed by the Austin Air HealthMate®. It greatly enhances indoor air quality by removing a variety of airborne particles, chemicals, gases, and odors.

The FR400 HealthMate Air Filter. The Austin Air HealthMate filter removes 99.97% of all particles down to 0.3 microns and 95% down to 0.1 microns by using 60 square feet of certified real medical High Efficiency Particulate Arresting (HEPA) filter media. A 15-lb. blend of activated carbon and zeolite surrounds the HEPA and chemically binds to and absorbs smells, smoke, and VOCs. The surface area accessible for absorption is increased by the porous nature of activated carbon. Zeolite is a mineral with micropores that absorbs some substances more effectively than activated carbon.

All standard size units and filters can be used interchangeably. Therefore, to upgrade from a standard size HealthMate® to any other filter, just buy the replacement filter that best meets your requirements.

Before placing your purchase for a replacement filter, please double-check that you have chosen the right size and type. Incorrectly ordered filters may be subject to a restocking fee.

Filtering specifications:

Large Particle Pre-filter at Stage 1. removes visible particles to the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander)
Medium Particle Pre-filter at Stage 2. removes particles of a small to medium size (e.g. molds, spores and pollen) Gray, blue, or green in color
Over 780 cubic inches of Activated Carbon and Zeolite are used in Stage 3. removes smells, gases, and chemicals.
60 square feet of True Medical Grade HEPA in Stage 4. 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns and 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns are eliminated.
Look for a label on the underside of your existing filter to determine its size. Standard size filter is indicated by the model HM400.
