The proprietary green technology, when combined with Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO), works in tandem to eliminate hazardous airborne germs and break down volatile organic compounds (VOC) while generating no byproducts as contaminated pathogenic air passes through the photocatalytic reactor. Clinical research demonstrates a microbiological and VOC elimination rate of 99.99% or higher. The HD-25000 uses less energy than two 100-watt light bulbs, making it an energy-efficient device.
One of the device's photocatalyst components is titanium dioxide (TiO2). The trademarked TiO2 compound that covers the catalyst material is made using a special method. Super-oxide ions and hydroxyl radicals are produced when this material is exposed to UV photons from the HD-25000 proprietary PCO lamps within. They will destroy and break down airborne infections, including viruses, mold/fungus, bacteria, and allergens. These species will also oxidize volatile organic compounds (VOCs) adsorbed on the catalyst surface, reducing them to trace amounts of water and carbon dioxide. In comparison to the organic material on the catalyst surface, the photocatalytic reactor is self-cleaning since the organic material is entirely oxidized during this process. Ozone and/or any other gas or chemical are neither produced nor used by HD-25000.
Since 1999, our air sanitization technology has been used commercially. The technique has been used in a wide range of commercial, residential, agricultural, and food applications worldwide. We do not claim to clean surfaces because, as was previously stated, all of the kill occurs inside our reactor bed without the use of or production of any gas or chemical.
